One of our commercial renovations included a traditional martial arts dojo. Through a combination of diligent consultation and creativity, we were able to exceed their design expectations in a shortened timeline.

A dojo has structural requirements unlike other commercial buildings. One particular feature in this project was a specialized floor that is both springy and stable. This was accomplished through a sequence of plywood underlaid by a latticework of wooden planks. With the foam matting on top, this flooring is unparalleled at shock absorbency.
